Images of Lough Erne

by Paul McNutt

Located in the heart of County Fermanagh in the west of Northern Ireland, Lough Erne is unique.  Its three hundred square miles of fresh water dotted with 160 green wooded islands make it one of Europe’s best-kept secrets.

Although tourism is Fermanagh’s second-largest industry, and there are many cruiser hire companies, a quick blast through the Internet reveals a distinct lack of detailed guides to Lough Erne, so I thought I’d publish a few of my own photographs to give the would-be visitor (and those who love the Lough) a flavour of Fermanagh.

This guide doesn’t pretend to be anything other than what it is – amateur pictures and descriptions of what I’ve seen.

If you like what you see, send me an e-mail; if you don’t like it, read my disclaimer!
